This decade was marked by the growth of the club , as well as by its affirmation and recognition. An example of this is the conquest of the Handball championship of the 3rd national division, as well as the conquest twice of the soccer championship of the 2nd district division of Setúbal of the Football Association of Setúbal (AFS), of which it is a member club.
It is during this period, now under a new design of Portuguese politics and society, that Quintajense implements several new sports , thus increasing the range of sports offerings to the parish, motivating new age groups and expanding the valences of a club in constant updating. The modalities of Taekwondo, Handball and Basketball were launched. Football, both male and female, being senior or in younger age groups, thus continues to be one of the sports of greater reference in the club.
QFC's 70's were characterized by a period of continuity and affirmation of the practices and structure, which had been previously implemented and with which the club had come to consider football as the sport of choice in the parish of Quinta do Anjo.
The 60's of the last century, were thus the period of emancipation of the sport practice by the feminine society of Quinta do Anjo. Quintajense was thus one of the pioneering clubs in the sport and in the recognition of its athletes on an equal footing with the male classes of the time.
The creation of Quintajense, as a sports club, appeared on July 7, 1940 . The spaces and facilities were inaugurated, through a celebration offered by the Martins family, honoring this action, as well as the transfer of land, with the attribution of the name Leonel Martins to the Football Field.
In this decade, the club bet on male soccer, as the main modality. If in a first phase, soccer was presented as a senior and masculine modality, the foundations were also laid for the enlargement to the younger layers, as well as the beginning of feminine soccer .

Since 2010 the world of sports has been changing very quickly, with new guidelines for sports practice, demands in terms of facilities and social, cultural and even community health constraints, so Quintajense had to adapt to the existing change. With this, the emergence of new sports and the intensification of women's football, began to be the main poles of interest and attraction of members and practitioners. However, the focus on training levels has never disappeared. Quintajense thus continues to respond to and involve the Quinta do Anjo community in the practice of sports and the dream that has always accompanied the existence of this sports club.
