Since
the
last
decade,
women's
football
has
been
growing
exponentially,
Portuguese
football
and
Quintajense
in
particular,
did
not
want
to
be
left
behind,
because
it
is
one
of
the
modalities
that
accompanied
the
great
social
and
cultural
change
of
the
70's,
in
parish
of Quinta do Anjo.
Quintajense
then
wanted
to
give
the
female
population
of
the
parish
the
opportunity
to
create another chapter of difference in the history of this club.
The first appearance of Quintajense women's football came in the 1950s.
